STRAWBERRY KIWI FRUIT TART

 

Ingredients:

 

1 prebaked 11" Pate Brisé Sucrée crust (see Basic Recipes)

1 recipe Strawberry Mascarpone Cream

2 pints strawberries, rinsed, hulled and halved

6 kiwi fruit, peeled and thinly sliced

Glaze: 1/3 cup apple jelly, melted with 1 tablespoon, strained  lemon juice

 

Assembly:

 

Unmold springform pan on a serving platter.

 

Spread Mascarpone cream filling over the bottom of the tart.  Arrange alternating concentric circles of kiwi slices and strawberry halves over this filling.

 

Brush on melted glaze and refrigerate.
